Fairbanks Expertise, Built Over a Decade

Precision Valuations was founded by Zak Penwell, a certified residential appraiser who has been valuing properties in the Fairbanks North Star Borough for over 10 years. Before entering the appraisal profession, Zak served as a combat veteran in the United States Air Force, where he developed the discipline, attention to detail, and integrity that define his work today.

Manga Penwell, Zak's wife and business partner, is also a certified residential appraiser. Together, they bring a family-operated approach to every client relationship — treating each homeowner's property with the same care and professionalism they would want for their own.

With thousands of valuations completed across the Interior, Precision Valuations has the local market knowledge that national firms and automated tools simply cannot replicate. Fairbanks is a unique market: military transfers, extreme climate considerations, well water and septic systems, rural parcels, and a housing stock that ranges from 1940s cabins to modern custom builds.
